ACTIVITIES

The following activities are seggested for teching the vocabulary explain in this blog:

1) The class is divided in two teams, members of the teams will go to board and make a draw representing a word related to Space and Technology, every member of both teams can guess the words, the teams that guesses the more words wins.

The words are: Astronaut, Anchor, Rocket, Orbit, Spacecraft, Space Shuttle, Ferry.

2) The class is divided in two teams; every team chooses a representative who will go to the front of the class. The two representatives are given a set of unknown words; their mission is to give them clues using the body language to guess what the unknown word is. No oral or written language will be allowed, the only thing that they can do to help their team partners is to write on the board the first and last letter of the word and the spaces between them.

Words: : Astronaut, payload, Space Station, Orbit, Spaceflight, Debris.

Example:

It is a person who travels to space, it is very smart can repair satellites on space.

3) Find nine word for spacecrafts.

4) Complete with the parts of the space shuttle and satellite.

5) The class is devided in two teams. members of the teams chose a piece of paper with an incognit word. Then in order they have to go to the front of the class and mimic the word or concept so all the class can guess. The team that guessess the most words wins.
